Like poetic language, music stimulates emotional experiences that have a personal relevance. That is why  the Dutch String Collective were asked to create music for verse 2 (‘Language’), one of the poems of Ramsey’s cycle. Megan Milota spoke the lyrics. For this occasion Jaco Benckhuijsen was asked as composer.
